Bollywood Feature
Ra.One
Contributed VFX, lighting, shading, and simulation to this Bollywood superhero feature starring Shah Rukh Khan, with Red Chillies VFX as the lead VFX vendor on the film. Luma was one of the partner studios on the project. Ra.One went on to win the National Film Award and Filmfare Award for Best Special Effects, plus the IIFA Award for Best Special Effects (Visual, Technical Excellence).

Lighting, Shading and Simulation
My first major VFX project in the industry. Responsible for lighting and shading CG elements to integrate seamlessly with live-action plates, matching practical on-set lighting conditions for photorealistic CG character work, and contributing simulation work across multiple VFX sequences.
Award-Winning VFX
Ra.One won the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award for Best Special Effects, plus the IIFA Award for Best Special Effects (Visual, Technical Excellence). Red Chillies VFX was the lead vendor and the named recipient of those awards. Luma's contribution sat alongside an international roster of partner studios on the project.
